We are starting the year off with some great crafts and fun guests! First up, we have, none other than...
Miss Hawaii 2011 Lauren Cheape!Lauren helped us celebrate our 60th Anniversary this past Fall and she was always so busy keeping our crowds entertained. So, she didn't have time to make one of the 60th make and takes projects. So, along with her, you'll learn how to make a simple "designer" handbag!
While you are watching this, Lauren is already in Vegas getting ready for the Miss America pageant, which airs on Saturday, January 14th. Let's all wish her the best because we know Lauren will make Hawaii proud!
Next, we have Cheryl Miyashiro, who uses the new Hero Arts /Sizzix stamp and die cut sets for her project.
Cheryl introduces a new card base die that has a flip panel, too. Really cool and easy to do!
Lastly, I bring an old favorite back by popular demand. The EZ Treat Bag is great when you need to make a lot of inexpensive favors. Here's a project sheet for you to follow along with.
Well, I hope you are ready for the New Year! It's going to be great with lots of new crafts and new guests on the show! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get a chance to watch this episode! Happy New Year and Happy Crafting!

Hi Joy,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!! I "likey" the designer bag Lauren is holding. So cute. Thanks for letting me know about the upcoming pageant. I LOVE to watch pageants and wish her the best. GO LAUREN!!! The flip card die is super neat. Nice job, Cheryl. I'm adding it to my wish list.
