So, I decided to take the plunge and really challenge myself. I signed up for TGF's He-Art Journaling class.Here's my first project, a two page layout with the theme of "Spread Your Wings".
I kept it simple by just using some acrylic paints for the background, leftover from my
Hello Kitty Canvas. Tore up some white cardstock for the clouds.
Added my Stamping Bella Ketto fairy and topped it all off with some Sparkle Glaze and more glitter.
My words...well, I am Dreaming Big because I hope to complete this 23 week journey! I'm happy there are some other Hawaii Sistahs in this class, too, like

ReplyDeletereally, i must have read your mind and you me because the concept is right there in front of me... like looking at my own page! down to the diffent shades of green in the grass!! LOL.... although mine isn't as nice... i sorta, ah, "wing-ed" it... hehe...
this will be an amazing "new" journey now that i know i have my local sistahs right beside me! we can all do it!! excited for tomorrow's class... wait, i'm trying to read your mind! hehe! Hugs!!
Good for you Joy! You are so brave. 23 weeks is a long commitment. I had to do a double-take when I glanced at your entry because I just read Kris' post and the colors are so similar and you both used acrylics. Good job Joy!
