Joy of Crafting's First December show

I can't believe some people have all of their Christmas wrapped and ready to go! Amazing! But for those of you, like me,  who still need a few more ideas, we have some for you on this first December show.

 I start the show with a quick project using the candy stick bags and Sixlets candy for an elf. Sixlets are so nostalgic for me because I went to Washington Intermediate. Behind our school, we had "Back Store" where we would buy Nibblets and Sixlets to eat with our Suicide drinks (mixed up sodas), and can't forget the hamburgers!OK, 'nuff about memory lane...

Talk about mixing things up, our next very special guest came all the way from Lahaina, Maui. Marcus Curimao teaches us about science in a fun way using basic everyday items you can find in a hardware store. The book, "The Wizard's Book of Science Secrets" can be found at all of our Ace Hardware stores on the neighbor islands and at the Pioneer Ace stores here on Oahu. Makes a great gift for the kids and kids-at-heart!

Lastly, I'll show you another quick Holiday Treat Holder that you can whip up really fast. Great for your office gang!

November's First Joy of Crafting Show

The first November show brings back some familiar crafty friends!

First, we start with Diane Morinaka, our favorite Floral designer! In this segment, Diane shows us how to put together a fashionable wreath featuring Holiday Chic!

Then,  we have Dean back with another cute project!

Here is his version of a "handprint" turkey. He cleverly makes it into a treat pocket!

Lastly, we have Colleen from Mapunapuna sharing some wonderful treat ideas, perfect for the holidays!

She uses the mini cupcake maker and push up pops!
