13 Days of Halloween - Day One

As part of Craftober, we're going to count down the days to Halloween with different projects everyday, 13 in all. Today, we have our first project, a simple one that even the kids could do!
It's a paper bag broom filled with treats!
I used the brown paper bag, I think you get 40 in a pack.

Cut the sides of the bag leaving the bottom intact.

For the broom handle, I used the clear magic wand tube filled with candy corn and striped with ribbon. Then, I filled a clear cello bag with candies, stuck the handle in the center and taped it up so that the handle wouldn't slide out.

Placed the candy filled bag in the center of the shredded bag. Gathered all of the shredded sides of the bag and cinched with a ribbon. I added a tag that says "Witching you a Wicked Halloween"

So fast, so simple!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
