Joy of Crafting's first show of 2013!

Happy New Year, Crafties! It's time for a new Joy of Crafting show!

I start off the show with a Carnation bear!

It's simple and cute, perfect for Valentine's day, birthdays, graduations and more! We even have a
project sheet for you.

Next up, we have Cheryl Miyashiro with another cute card.

It's an easy window card using Sizzix Framelits and that cute dandelion designs doggie.

Our next guest makes her debut to the show, Katie O'Shea from Market City Ben Franklin Crafts.

Katie shares a cute project from her childhood. You can make her Heart Pocket with your little ones, too!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you continue to enjoy our show! Have a great week and I hope to see you in person in 2013!

I've been having issues with uploading too in compose mode, but you can still do it via HTML (the old way).

  2. Hey Joy, I enjoyed this episode so much I watched it twice. Cheryl's tip for using the washi tape to hold down the dies is a winner. Thanks!

  3. Thanks, Leanne! The HTML wasn't doing it for me either, but I went back and tried again and it worked!

Hope to see you at CHA!

  7. Fabulous first show of the new year! Can't wait to stitch up heart pockets w/ the keiki at the library. Wouldn't it be an awesome valentine w/ keiki handprints and a little rhyme imprinted on the heart before stitching? Oh so cute!

  8. Joy, your demo of the carnation bear was so clear, I can't wait to make a bunch for graduations, etc. What do you think about tying on a tag that says, "This bears repeating... congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!"?

  9. Cheryl's 'How much is that doggie in the window?' card is darling! Her demo is easy to follow, and all the steps and pieces produce a card to keep.
